Awards
and
Annual Report Program
| Rutgers University is home to over 55 fraternity
and sorority chapters. Through the efforts of our student leaders,
our chapters and individual students achieve amazing things. Each
year, OFSA and the governing councils celebrate those accomplishments
through the Annual Report and Awards Program. Our awards recognize
individuals and chapters who fulfill their founding principles of
Scholarship, Service, Leadership and Brotherhood/Sisterhood. |
| Annual
Report |
| The Annual Report is designed to act as both a
planning and evaluative document. The completed Annual Report is reviewed
yearly and is the tool by which chapter progress is measured. The
submission of the Annual Report and supporting documentation gives
the chapter an opportunity to have its various programs evaluated
and receive feedback and suggestions for improvement. |
| In addition, the results of the Annual
Report serve as the basis for the Greek Awards program. Each year,
outstanding chapters are recognized with the presentation of awards.
Through this presentation, chapters are encouraged to aspire to high
standards of excellence in a wide range of activities. |
| Greek Convocation
and Fall Awards Ceremony |
| The
Greek Convocation is our traditional opening of the new school year.
Each September, the entire Greek community gathers to recognize and
celebrate the achievements of our recognized chapters. Award winning
chapters will receive Programming Achievement, Service and Programming
Awards. In addition, the prestigious Chapter Excellence Awards will
be announced. |
| Spring
Greek Awards Ceremony |
| The
Spring Awards Ceremony recognizes our best and brightest students.
Greek men and women are encouraged to apply for a wide variety of
awards that recognize achievement in areas such as scholarship, service
and leadership. Award applications will be due on March 28, 2008.
The Greek Awards
Ceremony will be held on Monday, April 28 at the Rutgers Student
Center. All members of the Greek community are invited to attend.
